New Spectator Parking Plan for Wildflower

Your voice has been heard: New Easy Access Day Use Parking
We understand it has been difficult in the past to invite your friends and family to come out for the day to watch you race because the roads into the park are used for the bike course and are closed. We have also heard that it is hard for spectators to get up and down the hill to the festival area.
We are excited to announce that we are going to try something new this year. There will be an option to park Day Use spectators to the event across the lake at North Shore and give them a free boat ride across the lake to the festival area. It will be easier and lots of fun.
How it works:
Spectators will be directed to the Lake San Antonio North Shore Marina.
Directions from the North
At Lockwood continue straight on Jolon Road (G18) instead of turning right onto Interlake Road (G-14) for 6.1 miles. Turn right at New Pleyto Road and proceed 4.1 miles to the Lake San Antonio North Shore admissions gate.
Directions from the South
Continue on Lake Nacimiento Drive (G-19) instead of turning left onto Interlake Road (G14) for 8.7 miles. Turn left on Jolon Road (G-18) and proceed 8.9 miles. Turn left at New Pleyto Road and proceed 4.1 miles to Lake San Antonio North Shore admission gate.
They will pay the festival fees at the main and then will be directed to park their cars at the parking lot by the boat ramp, walk down to the dock and jump on a pontoon boat for the 10 minute ride to South Shore and the Festival Area. Pontoon boats will run approximately every 15 minutes from 7:00am until dusk on Saturday and from 7:00am-4:00pm on Sunday.
Parking will still be available on South Shore, but will close at 8am and all traffic after that will be directed to North Shore.
Note: Day parking at North Shore is not intended for Athlete Parking
