The Triathlon at Pacific Grove
August 3, 2008 (Sunday)
1/2 Day Clinic
Clinic Overview:
If you are training for The Triathlon at Pacific Grove Olympic or Sprint distance Triathlon, this 4 hour swim clinic will make a big difference in your comfort level and knowledge of swimming in the ocean and the Monterey Bay kelp forest. We will work on all the basics of open water swimming. Clinic topics include getting in and out of a wetsuit, doing the "kelp crawl", cold water swimming, swim starts, swim exits, sighting in open water and more. This is a great opportunity to learn training tactics and skills from our USAT certified expert level coaching staff. We guarantee this open water swim training clinic will make your triathlon race experience a fun and enjoyable one.
Our Tri-California coaching staff realizes that not all participants have the same swimming experience and fitness level. During each session we break into sub groups for each activity based on the participant's experience. Our goal is to provide a high staff to participant ratio to allow for the best possible training experience.
All Participants must know how to swim before attending this open water swim clinic!
