26th Annual Avia Wildflower Triathlon 2008

Date: May 2 - 4, 2008
Location: Lake San Antonio - Monterey County, California
Expo Set-up Hours: Thursday by appointment only (10am-5pm), Friday 9am - noon.
Expo Hours: Friday noon - 6pm, Saturday 7am - 6pm, Sunday 8am - 4pm.
Races Held at the Event: Long Course (1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run), Olympic Distance Course (1.5K swim, 40K bike, 10K run), Sprint Distance (.25 mile swim, 9.7 mile bike, 2 mile run)
Number of Participants: 7,500+ (each race sells out)
Number of Spectators: approximately 35,000
Number of Vendor Spaces: 95
Additional Activities: Several bands play on main stage throughout the week, evening pasta feeds, triathlon clinics on Friday, packet pick-up on Friday and Saturday.
Event best known for: Second largest triathlon in the world, largest sports expo in the industry, 3-day Expo (Friday-Sunday).
Fees: $10 X 10 space $800, 10 X 20 space $1400, 10X30 space $2,100, 20X20 space $2,750. Tent Rentals also available at an additional fee.
Returning Vendors: Your booth space from 2007 will be held for you until Feb. 1st. At that time your space will be released to the waiting list if an application is not received or Tri-California is not contacted. If you would like to switch spaces, simply fill out the application from the link above and under the comments section note your requested spaces.
New Vendors: Currently we have just over a dozen spaces open for new vendors on a first come, first serve basis. All applications will be accepted now and e-mail confirmations will be sent after February 15th.

2008 Pre-Paid Vehicle Camping Fees (Motor homes, vehicles with trailers, vehicles for tent camping, etc ) includes all camping fees, and festival fees for everyone in the vehicle. Each vehicle in the park overnight must pay camping fee. If paid on site, it only includes camping fees (festival fees are extra) and spaces will be on a first come, first serve basis. RV Hookups - There are limited RV access sites. Sites will be assigned in Lynch or in Redonda Vista and passes will be mailed out with expo confirmations. Hookup sites are not guaranteed so all motor homes need to be self contained. There are limited number of expo vendor spaces assigned so they will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. No sites will be sold to vendors after April 1st.

Wednesday-Sunday: $200 per vehicle
Thursday-Sunday: $150 per vehicle
Friday-Sunday: $100 per vehicle

Location: Marina Green - San Francisco, California
Expo Set-up Hours: Thursday by appointment (10am-5pm), Friday 8am - 11am.
Expo Hours: Saturday 11am - 7pm, Sunday 6am - 3pm.
Races Held at the Event: 1.5 mile swim in the San Francisco Bay, 18 mile bike out the Great Highway, 8 mile run through Golden Gate Park.
Number of Participants: Sells out each year with 2,000 participants.
Number of Spectators: 15,000
Number of Vendor Spaces: 40
Event best known for: Nationally Televised Event, 2-day Expo in one of the most active cities in the United States
Fees: $10 X 10 space $700 | After 4/25 $750.00, 10 X 20 space $1350 | After 4/25 $1400, 10X30 space $1900 | After 4/25 $1950.

Triathlon at Pacific Grove 2008

Date: September 12-14, 2008 (3 day expo)
Location: Lover's Point, Pacific Grove - Monterey County, California
Expo Set-up Hours: Friday 8am - noon
Expo Hours: Friday Sept. 12th noon - 6pm, Saturday Sept. 13th 7am - 4pm, Sept. 14th Sunday 7am - noon
Races Held at the Event: Olympic Distance, Sprint Distance
Number of Participants: 1,800 (each race sells out)
Number of Spectators: 10,000
Number of Vendor Spaces: 25
Additional Activities: Friday Carbo Load Pasta Party, afternoon Beach Awards Ceremony.
Event best known for: Scenic looped course is spectator and media friendly, beautiful location to take a trip, 3-day Expo (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).
Fees: $10 X 10 space $450, 10 X 20 space $750, 20X20 space $1300. Tent rentals also available.

Scott Tinley's Adventures 2008

More Information

Date: October 3-5, 2008 (3 day expo)
Location: Lopez Lake - San Luis Obispo County, California
Expo Set-up Hours: Friday 10am - 5pm
Expo Hours: Saturday and Sunday 7am - 1pm
Races Held at the Event: Road Triathlon (Olympic Distance and Sprint Distance), Off-road triathlons (one novice, one int.- expert), Tri-Cal Kids Triathlon and hill climb time trial.
Number of Participants: 600-1,000
Number of Vendor Spaces: 10
Event best known for: Family fun weekend and getting new participants into the sport of triathlon. Grass roots style event.
Fees: $10 X 10 space $200, 10 X 20 space $350. Tent rentals are not available for this event.
Early Registration Discount: $25.00 by September 1st.

San Francisco Triathlon at Treasure Island 2008

Date: November 7-9, 2008 (3 day expo - Packet pick up Friday, Olympic Sat. and Sprint on Sunday)
Location: Treasure Island, San Francisco Bay California
Expo Set-up Hours: Thursday by appointment, Friday 8am - noon
Expo Hours: Friday noon - 6pm, Saturday 7am - 3pm, Sunday 7am - 1pm
Races Held at the Event: Olympic Distance, Sprint Distance and Elite Olympic Distance Race.
Number of Participants: 2,000
Number of Spectators: Estimated 12,000
Number of Vendor Spaces: 40
Event best known for: ITU Continental Cup Race, USAT Hall to the Great Wall Race. LOCATION. You couldn't create a more scenic (Bay Bridge, Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, San Francisco Skyline) course. It's has a great mix of technical and fast flat areas. Looped course that is spectator friendly with 3 hot corners to watch the athletes pass by. It also has some of the most exciting graphics and themes in the sport of triathlon. Culmination of the Tri-California Pro Series and presentations of Pro Series Purse.
Fees: 10 X 10 space $500, 10 X 20 space $900, 20 X 20 space $1400. Tent rentals also available.
