Camping
Camping at Lake San Antonio is a great experience and what makes the AVIA Wildflower Triathlons so wonderful. You can enjoy family camping right at the race site. Camping is not included in your entry fee. The campgrounds were built for large crowds and have restrooms, showers, and many developed sites. There is an overflow camping area so no one will be turned away. Camping is on a first come basis, so arrive early for the best sites.
Regular or Full Hookups are scattered among the many oak trees in the Harris Creek and Redonda Vista camping areas of Lake San Antonio, South Shore (Lynch camping area is reserved and closed). No reservations are required, or accepted. Arrive early for the best sites.* Showers and restrooms are conveniently located in all camping areas.
Lakeside View Campsites Will accommodate large Motor homes Only 20 spaces available. These sites are located along the parking lot pavement shoreline of the swim start and were developed to accommodate, clubs, companies or groups that want a prime viewing and gathering area. They must arrive prior to Thursday and must stay until Sunday afternoon. There is room for one self contained (NO Hook Ups) motor home (up to 40') and one additional 6 passenger vehicle. There is room to put out an awning and watch all the action. (*This is not an expo space, no promotions or sales may be done out of this location with the exception of triathlon clubs) No additional vehicles may park with your group, general parking is available in another area.

CAMPING FEES: (Motor homes, vehicles with trailers, vehicles for tent camping, etc ) Each vehicle in the park overnight must pay camping fee. *Camping fee is for the vehicle only. All passengers that arrive in a vehicle that has not purchased Pre-Paid camping will be required to purchase a festival fee before entering the park. Pre-Paid camping passes may be purchased with your on-line race application. There are no in-out privileges.
Camping passes are no longer available on-line. You will need to purchase your passes at the Park gate when you arrive at the park race weekend.

*Regular campsite are always available all pre-paid camping locations are on a first come - first serve basis (tents and RV's). Campsites with full hookups for RVs typically fill up by Tuesday afternoon. Pre-Paid camping does not reserve you a RV or hook-up site.

Wildflower Camping Site & Fees not included.
** Motor-home will be delivered to the El Monte RV staging area only. Customer may stay in the staging area or move their vehicle to a pre-assigned space. El Monte RV will not be responsible to move or set up the vehicle in the customer’s space. Customers are required to complete a pre-printed form with customers name, cell phone number, vehicle number and exact space number before the vehicles can be moved from the staging area.
** Motor-home will be delivered to the El Monte RV staging area on 30 April and retrieved from the staging area on 05 May.
Full payment by VISA, Master Card or Discover Card is required to reserve and is non-refundable in the event of cancellation. American Express not accepted for delivery packages.

BIKE SHIPPING: Local bike shop K-Man Cycle & Run will accept delivery and build bikes at the Lake. Click here for details on how bike shipping works. Be sure to email your tracking number to K-Man Cycle and Run so they can be on teh lookout for your bike.
TRAVEL: The nearest airports to Lake San Antonio are San Luis Obispo (80 miles) and Monterey Peninsula Airports (100 miles). Both are serviced by American Airlines/American Eagle. Both airports are accessible from San Jose (150 miles), San Francisco (200 miles) or Los Angeles Airports (250 miles).
