Tri-California Training Camps
Our Training Camps are intensive multi-day, overnight training sessions covering all aspects of the race. We delve into the strategies for success on the course, give you the inside scoop on when and where you can "surge", discuss important nutritional information in preparing for a race and give you quality time with our coaches on the actual race course. These Camps are designed for athletes that have some knowledge of "open water" swimming and are in shape to handle multiple sessions of training in a day. You will walk away from these camps with a firm grasp of the course and the skills to conquer any technical or challenging sections of the race.
Tri-California Training Clinics
Training Clinics differentiate themselves from Training Camps in that each Clinic is a one day training session. These clinics will give an all-around overview of the entire course and give the athlete some time with each disclipline throughout the day. These clinics are great primers to ensure that you are ready for the upcoming event and give you confidence to "attack" the course like a seasoned pro.
Tri-California Training Talks
Training Talks are normally a couple hours in length and will cover a wide range of race topics. The talks are free to all registered participants. These sessions are similar to "pre-race" meetings in a lecture style format with an opportunity for interactive "Q & A". The talks are held the days immediately preceding it's main triathlon event and should be a nice wrap up before race day. If group members want to organize for a group run or ride following the clinic, this would be a great time to meet up fellow athletes. The map feature next to each Training Talk will provide directions to the talk locations. If you are interested in attending a Training Talk or have questions, please follow this link and submit your interest to our coaching staff.
